PHOTO - John Dumelo Distributes Food To Victims Of Shiashie Fire Outbreak

 

Movie star and politician, John Dumelo has distributed food to the victims of the Shiashie fire outbreak.

Some structures in Shiashie, a suburb of the capital city of Accra was gutted by fire some few days ago. The cause of the fire is still sketchy.

Thousands of residents were rendered homeless and properties running into tens of thousands of Ghana cedis were also lost to the fire.

John Dumelo who is aspiring to represent the people of Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency in parliament on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress was seen at the site when the fire was razing down the structures.

For the past five days, he and his team have been extending a helping hand to the people of Shiashie by providing the victims with food to cushion their plight.

The actor, shared photos of the distribution on his twitter page. He wrote: “Over the past few days, we have constantly fed the the residents of Shiashie who were affected by the fire. #idey4u #isharethelittleihave”

John Dumelo has been one of the few politicians who have come to the aid of their people in the time of their difficulties.

During the lockdown period, he helped most of his constituents with food items and some monetary support for small scale business owners in his constituency.
